Board-certified in both Interventional and Diagnostic Radiology, Dr. Chiong earned his medical degree from the University of California, Davis, and completed his fellowship training at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. He also holds an appointment as an Affiliate Associate Medical Professor at the CUNY School of Medicine.

With a career marked by clinical excellence and administrative leadership, Dr. Chiong has been instrumental in implementing patient safety protocols and advancing interventional radiology services across multiple hospital systems in New York and New Jersey. He is a recipient of the SBH Medical Staff Impact Award and has authored several chapters in medical textbooks on health crisis management and quality in imaging. His research contributions span a wide array of topics, including uterine fibroid embolization and central line-associated bacteremia incidence.

Dr. Chiong is not only a dedicated clinician but also a passionate educator, regularly delivering grand rounds and lectures on trauma imaging, vascular disease, and CT protocols.
