A graduate of New York Medical College, Dr. Bamshad was recognized with the Gold Humanism Honor Society award and served as Chief Resident during his diagnostic radiology residency at Mount Sinai West. His academic excellence is further highlighted by his induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.

Dr. Bamshad is a prolific researcher and educator, having authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and book chapters on topics such as prostate artery embolization (PAE) and the management of stent-graft endoleaks. He has presented his findings at major national conferences, including the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR), where he also held leadership roles on the Communications Committee. His technical expertise covers a wide range of image-guided interventions, from oncological ablations to complex vascular conferences.

Beyond his clinical and academic pursuits, Dr. Bamshad is deeply involved in student mentorship and wellness advocacy.
